A loving husband has created a new barbie to match his wife's skin tone for her birthday present. 
Marcus Montgomery, 42, wanted to give his wife Lisette a game developer barbie because it matched her profession, but decided not to after finding it with only one skin tone.
He bought a fashionista barbie instead and dressed her up as a game developer so his wife would have the perfect gift.

Mr Montgomery, from Oakland, California, said it only took 20 minutes to transform the barbie.
'Let's be real, mothers across America have been doing this for years,' he told . 
'My ultimate goal was to make my wife smile. It was her birthday.'

'She works hard and, like all of us, she feels unrecognized at times,' said Mr Montgomery. 
He added that the game developer barbie acknowledged her career but that he and his wife experience the issue of representation every day.

'I think it's important to see faces that you might not normally see and hopefully find some inspiration from them,' he said.  
Mrs Montgomery was overjoyed with her present. 'I love my husband because he's thoughtful and generous,' she told Abc. 
'The thought of him struggling to put those tiny clothes on that little Barbie with those big hands cracks me up. It makes me love the gift even more.'
Mr Montgomery said he was not angry about the situation and that the game developer barbie was inspirational.
Mrs Montgomery was overjoyed with her present. 'I love my husband because he's thoughtful and generous,' she said
