A luxury superyacht has been completely destroyed in a massive blaze after the boat exploded in a ball of fire sending enormous plumes of black smoke into the sky. Flames engulfed the luxury yacht as the smoke billowed into the air, blanketing nearby boats. 
Footage showed two people on an inflatable boat circling the front of the yacht desperately trying to extinguish the flames.   
Queensland Fire and Emergency Services (QFES) were called shortly after the blaze broke out and headed to the Hamilton Island marina.

It's understood no one was onboard the luxury boat when the fire broke out and there are no reports of anyone injured. 
A QFES spokesperson told Daily Mail Australia the luxury boat was 'still smoldering' shortly before 3pm as firefighters continued their attempts to put out the flames.
'The fire was well involved when the emergency crew arrived on scene,' the QFES spokesperson said. 
'Crew began using a submersible pump to fight the fire but the boat is taking on water and looks like it will eventually sink.'

The fire has reportedly been contained to the superyacht Buy Verified TransferWise Account With IBAN - Waraccounts.Com no present concerns of it spreading to neighbouring boats, despite smoke and heat damage affecting some vessels. 
The cause of the fire remains unknown.
