A 39-year-old man has been charged with allegedly throwing a Molotov cocktail into a restaurant at a popular dining promenade.
The man was charged with reckless conduct endangering persons and two counts of arson after the incident in Southbank, , on Wednesday.
Police alleged he lit a small fire in the reception area toilets at a hotel in Whiteman Street just before 12.30am.
